About Us

Prayer Groups for Schools (PGS) is a loose association of Christian parents and friends who are all about praying for our kids’ and grandkids’ schools across Australia. Some of us are part of an established prayer group; some of us are the only ones we know of praying for a particular school. We pray for private schools and catholic schools, state schools and christian schools, selective schools and even homeschoolers.

PGS exists to encourage and support parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles, school staff and others who want to pray for and support our school communities (Students, chaplains, teachers, principals, admin and cleaning staff, volunteer helpers, and everyone else who invests into our kids and their education).

PGS is not a registered charity or association. PGS does not collect donations nor does PGS have any paid staff or its own bank account. Web hosting and any other bills are paid directly by volunteers and supporting organisations.
